Canon University is committed to the purpose of training already committed believers for a life of productive service to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church.
Our courses are centered on the Bible, which we believe to be the Word of the living God. Our endeavor is to create a hunger for His Word and a proficiency in the declaration of the Gospel through proper communicative skills.
Our study of the Bible, Biblical Studies & Theology will give a strong foundation from which the Gospel will be proclaimed.
All degrees from Canon University, will be of an ecclesiastical nature, and whether granted or conferred, are in the restricted area of religion with special purpose of preparing persons to work in the area of religion, (whether service activities, educational, or ministerial) and are not designed to be used in general academic circles.
CU will accepts credits from all schools compatible in mission and doctrine and, in addition, will offer credit for service in the ministry, work related fields, church study courses, and seminars attended.
Canon University meets the requirements and is Authorized by The Board of Independent Colleges and Universities (SBICU) and the Department of Education, Tallahassee, Florida.
Canon University is accredited and we stand for Higher Standards in Christian Education. CU is not governed by the US Department of Education, however it meets or exceeds the the department’s criteria. All degrees awarded are of ecclesiastical nature.
The University is also affiliated with the International Association of Christian Counselors & Therapist Inc. (IACCT) program, enabling our students to apply for and receive a Christian Counselor’s license.
CU degree programs are designed solely for religious vocations.
Canon University is proud to announce that it offers distance learning, self-paced, educational studies. Advanced placement is offered through credits granted for life experience and courses taken at other institutions. CU is authorized to award Associate, Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate degrees in the state of Florida.
